2017 POOL HOURS

Coles Crossing HOA/A-Beautiful Pools, Inc Pool Party Guidelines

  • There shall be no pool parties scheduled during pool hours.
  • Pool parties may not conflict with neighborhood functions and swim team schedules.
  • Pool parties are to be scheduled before or after pool hours and may not last past 11:00pm, and must not exceed 125 people.  Request for a larger number of guests should be made in writing to the Coles Crossing Homeowner Association and forwarded to the management company at least thirty (30) days prior to the date of the event.
  • Pool parties may be scheduled after 4:00pm until 11:00pm on the day the pool is regularly closed and not a legal Holiday.
  • Pool parties can not be scheduled for the weekend of Memorial Day, 4th of July, or Labor Day weekend.
  • There is a 10-day advance required notice (call-in) to A-Beautiful Pools, Inc. for all scheduling of parties. For party requests with a 5-9 day advanced notice, ABP holds the right to deny the request or charge an additional late booking fee of $50.00 for a total of $80.00 non refundable office set up fee depending on the availability of the facility and/or lifeguards.
  • There is a 5-day cancellation notice (call-in) to A-Beautiful Pools, Inc. for all scheduled parties. If the resident does not call to cancel the party then A-Beautiful Pools, Inc. will submit an invoice reflecting the time the lifeguards were at the pool for the scheduled party. If cancellation is due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances, a 24-hour notice of cancellation will result in complete refund. If party is cancelled at least two hours before the scheduled time due to inclement weather or other extenuating circumstances, member reserving the pool will be refunded all monies except the office set-up fee. The resident will also not be responsible for paying the lifeguards.
  • There is a $30.00 non-refundable set-up fee made payable to A-Beautiful Pools, Inc. to be made at the time of the booking of the party.  The set-up fee is not a deposit. Mail to A-Beautiful Pools, Inc., 21175 Tomball Parkway #725 , Houston, TX 77070 along with lifeguarding fees. We accept cash, money orders, and credit cards (Master Card & Visa). No personal checks please.
  • A refundable deposit of $250 will be required for any party held at the pool. This deposit will be refunded to the individual reserving the facilities, provided that all rules pertaining to the use of the pool are observed during the period of private use, the facilities are not damaged in any way, and the facilities and surrounding area are left clean and free from all trash and debris.
  • A non-refundable usage fee of $50 will be charged for any party (swimming or non-swimming). A check may be payable to the Coles Crossing Community Association for this usage fee along with the aforementioned deposit must be received at the time the pool is reserved by a resident member.  Both the fee and deposit must be mailed into the A-Beautiful Pools office along with the lifeguarding fee.
  • There are always three lifeguards for 1-50 swimmers; thereafter, one lifeguard for each additional 20 swimmers.
  •  Lifeguard pay is $26.00 per lifeguard, per hour. This is to be paid 10 days in advance of the party. There will be NO REFUNDS if resident decides to end party early.
  • A deputy sheriff will be required for any teenage/adult party held at the pool. Resident will be responsible for making arrangements with the Sheriff.
  • Parties after August 25th are subject to a $75.00 fee. This fee is for additional cleanings to have the pool in good order. No party after pool closes for the season.
  •  No alcohol shall be served. No glass containers.
  • Amplifiers will not be allowed. All speakers must be directed towards the south/Jarvis Road.
  • Loud or vulgar language is forbidden.
  • Refusal to constructively respond to Life Guard directives can be used to immediately terminate any party.
  • The Office Manager or Supervisor must approve specific lifeguard requests for pool parties. If changes occur with the guards, the resident will be notified as soon as possible.

POOL RULES

There is nothing to prohibit you from bringing a private instructor as your guest; however he or she will need to follow the pool rules and obey any instructions given by the lifeguards (adult swim times, no diving, etc.).  We would suggest picking a quiet time of day, if at all possible. Late afternoon is generally “off peak.”

Coles Swim Center on Coles Crossing Drive (Lap Pool)

  • Pool may be used only when lifeguard is on duty. Lifeguard has final authority to insure safety and order in the pool at all times and to close the pool in the event of threatening weather and/or lightning.
  • All children under 10 years of age must be accompanied by an adult at least 18 years of age. Parents are responsible for their children in the pool area at all times.
  • Children between the ages of 10 and 12 may be required to take a swim competency test (at the discretion of the lifeguard) before being allowed to enter the pool area without an adult.
  • Members may bring up to three guests to pool at a time and must sign in and be responsible for them at all times.
  • Proper swim attire is required. Cut-offs are not allowed in the pool.
  • No disposable diapers are allowed in the pool. Toddlers must wear plastic pants over diapers or training pants.
  • Only small floating items, permitted at lifeguard’s discretion, will be allowed in pool.
  • No diving is allowed. No running or roughhousing allowed in the pool area.
  • No glass containers, smoking or alcoholic beverages allowed in the pool area.
  • No bicycles, skateboards, skates, pets, etc. allowed in the pool area.
  • No loud music is allowed in pool area.
  • No loud or abusive language will be tolerated.
  • Bleachers are for spectator viewing only. No playing or roughhousing allowed on or under bleachers.
  • The use of baby oil and other heavy suntan oils causes filter damage. Please refrain from the use of these lotions prior to entering the pool.
  • There will be a ten-minute adult swim period and guard break every hour during which time all swimmers under18 must be out of the water.
  • Anyone swimming after hours may be suspended for the remainder of the swim season and will have trespassing charges filed against them.
  • Lifeguards are employed to insure the safety of all swimmers. They have the authority to remove from the pool area anyone disobeying the rules or endangering themselves or another person. The lifeguard has the authority to suspend the offender.  Violations may result in revocation of pool privileges for the remainder of the swim season.

  • No one is allowed at the top of the gazebo except lifeguards.
  • The use of baby oil and other heavy suntan oils causes filter damage. Please refrain from the use of these lotions prior to entering the pool.
  • There will be a ten-minute adult swim period and guard break every hour during which time all swimmers under18 must be out of the water.
  • Anyone swimming after hours may be suspended for the remainder of the swim season and will have trespassing charges filed against them.

The following qualifications must be met in order to use the any facility at Coles Crossing, including the pools:
1. Must have access button to enter the amenity.
2. Must be resident member and/or guest of a resident member.
3. Maintenance Fees must be paid in full, ten (10) days prior to activation of access button.

Entry to all amenities, including Pools, Tennis Courts, and Fitness Center will be by access button ONLY. Your access button is for your use in accordance with the rules which are posted at each facility. Access buttons are activated ONLY if you are in good standing with the Association. Distribution and activation of the access buttons are handled by MAIL ONLY through CMC.
